About Us

My name is Elise, and I am the proud owner of EliseMay Danceworks. I started EMD in June 2015 with just one class for pre-school aged children, which I called Tippy Toes! Following its success, I decided to add more classes to the timetable and so a couple of months later, EliseMay Danceworks was born! 

 

I began dancing when I was 3 years old, and I haven't stopped since. My love for dance grew and grew over my 15 years of training and I am thrilled that I now have a dance school to call my own, where I will hopefully inspire many young boys and girls, just like my teachers inspired me!

 

EliseMay Danceworks is a small and friendly dance school based in Hockley Heath, Solihull. Our aim is to provide fun, energetic, yet safe and professional classes whilst also offering our students plenty of performance opportunities to allow them to flourish as performers. In the Summer term of 2017, EMD will begin to offer IDTA examinations. I am a qualified, DBS checked and First Aid trained teacher, registered with the International Dance Teachers Association.
